Revolutionary War Cemetery Walk with Town Historian Maureen Kohl
Historical

A churchyard, after dark, on the night before Halloween.
Town Historian Maureen Kohl leads a walk through the graveyard at the South Salem Presbyterian Church and tells you who is buried there. The stones go back to the Revolutionary War, and the people under them are the reason the walk is a history lesson rather than a ghost tour. It is open to adults and teenagers.
Where to meet. Everyone gathers at the Lewisboro Library at 7pm and walks over to the church together. The church is at 111 Spring Street, South Salem.
Good to know. Free, but space is limited and the library asks you to register in advance. Photographs are often taken at this one, so say something to the organizers on the night if you would rather not be in them.
Dress for it. Late October, after dark, on uneven ground.
Please check with the organizer if the event date, time or offer has changed.** LTO
