SOLD OUT: Robby Hoffman: Live on Tour, Late Show

The first show went well enough that they put another one on the same night.

Robby Hoffman is an Emmy winning writer and Emmy nominated actor whose work runs across stand up, television and podcasting. In 2025 Variety named her one of its 10 Comics to Watch, her debut Netflix special Robby Hoffman: WAKE UP premiered globally with John Mulaney directing, and Mulaney's verdict on announcing the collaboration was that no one has owned a stage like her since James Brown.

The same year she starred opposite Michelle Williams in FX's Dying for Sex and earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for HBO's Hacks. Born in Brooklyn, raised in Montreal in a large family, she is described by The New York Times as a bulldozing stand up in the Larry David tradition, and her Patreon podcast Too Far as an addictive listen.

Season five of Hacks is in production, HBO's Rooster from Steve Carell and Bill Lawrence is coming, and she is writing and starring in UnEntitled for HBO.

Good to know. This is the late show. The earlier performance starts at 7pm the same evening.

Where to go. The Playhouse is at 80 East Ridge Road in Ridgefield, behind the town hall, and it is an easy run in from anywhere in lower Fairfield County.
