SOLD OUT: Robby Hoffman: Live on Tour

John Mulaney, on Robby Hoffman: no one has owned a stage like her since James Brown.

Hoffman is an Emmy winning writer and Emmy nominated actor who came up through stand up, television and podcasting, and 2025 was the year everything landed at once. Variety named her one of its 10 Comics to Watch, her debut Netflix special Robby Hoffman: WAKE UP premiered worldwide with Mulaney directing, she starred opposite Michelle Williams in FX's Dying for Sex, and she picked up an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress for HBO's Hacks.

She was born in Brooklyn into a large family and raised in Montreal, and The New York Times calls her a bulldozing stand up, comparing her to Larry David for what it describes as mountain out of a molehill kvetching delivered with hilarious rage. The Daily Beast has called her the future of comedy. The Wall Street Journal went with an original comic talent, and The Hollywood Reporter settled on delightful oddball.

She is now in production on season five of Hacks, has a major role coming in HBO's Rooster from Steve Carell and Bill Lawrence, and is developing UnEntitled at HBO as writer, executive producer and star.

Two shows tonight. This is the 7pm. A second performance was added at 9:30pm on the same night.

Where to go. The Playhouse is at 80 East Ridge Road in Ridgefield, behind the town hall, and it is an easy run in from anywhere in lower Fairfield County.
