Rockapella Holiday Show
Holidays

Five voices, no instruments, and a Christmas set.
Rockapella bring their holiday show to the Palace for a Saturday night in December. The group came to national attention in the early 1990s on the PBS series Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?, and has toured the globe since on a blend of pop, soul and vocal precision across albums, television and live performances. The New York Times has called them pure entertainment, and USA Today made the same point by naming the human voice the best instrument of all.
What sets them apart is that they build the whole thing themselves. Rhythm, bass lines, melody and rich harmony all come out of voices, which still stands out now that a cappella groups have multiplied around the world. The December show turns that approach loose on the seasonal songbook.
What it costs. All tickets are $45 plus $4.30 in fees, with reserved seating, so you choose your seats when you book.
Good to know. The Palace expects this one to sell out, so book ahead. Group discounts are available if you are bringing a crowd.
Where to go. The Palace Danbury sits on Main Street in downtown Danbury, with restaurants either side of it and an easy run in from anywhere in lower Fairfield County.
