RSO at the Theater Barn: Jay Prince and Friends

A jazz night in a theatre barn, with the tables set cabaret style and the catering left entirely up to you.

The Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra and the Ridgefield Theater Barn are presenting this one together. Jay Prince and Friends is a seven-piece all-star ensemble: Jay Prince on guitar and vocals, Bill Heller on keyboards, Tyger MacNeal on drums, Dave Anderson on bass, Cliff Lyons on saxophone, Jerry Sokolov on trumpet and Jens Wendelboe on trombone.

Between them they have recorded and performed with Paul Simon, Michael McDonald, Donna Summer, Smokey Robinson, Art Garfunkel, Jose Feliciano, Keith Urban, Patti Austin, Gladys Knight, Blood, Sweat and Tears, the Average White Band, the Four Tops and Frankie Valli, with Grammy-nominated recordings, Billboard albums and Broadway runs including MJ, Movin' Out and Smokey Joe's Cafe along the way.

The programme is jazz, some lesser-known gems, and holiday treats.

Good to know. Doors open an hour before the 7pm show. Tickets are $50 including fees and all sales are final. Seating is cabaret style and you are invited to bring your own food and drink; beverages and light snacks are also on sale.
