RSO in Concert: Visions

Four seasons, but not the ones you are expecting.

The Ridgefield Symphony opens its 2026-27 season at the Playhouse with a programme built around Astor Piazzolla's Four Seasons of Buenos Aires, tango pulled into the concert hall, with Jeremías Sergiani-Velázquez as soloist. Before it comes Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel's Overture in C Major, a piece that waited well over a century for the performances it deserved. The evening closes with Beethoven's Sixth, the Pastorale, which is the most unhurried thing he ever wrote.

Make a night of it. A 7:30 curtain at the Playhouse leaves plenty of time for dinner in town beforehand.

Good to know. Tickets run $12.50 to $65.00 including fees. The lower end makes this one of the cheaper ways to hear a full orchestra in the county.
