RSO Wine Fest at Nod Hill Brewery

Forty plus wines, a brewery back room, and a very well timed excuse to sort out Thanksgiving.

Ancona's Wines and Liquors hosts a walk around wine tasting in the back space at Nod Hill Brewery, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra. There are more than forty wines to work through alongside Nod Hill beers, plus cheese, charcuterie and veggie grazing boards. The selection is curated with autumn ingredients and cooking in mind, and there are one night only quantity discounts if you want to buy for the Thanksgiving table while you are there. Importers and distributors are on hand, so there is rather more to learn than you might expect from a room full of open bottles.

Getting in. Tickets are $40 and numbers are limited. Booking runs through Ancona's own website rather than the Symphony's box office.

Good to know. The Symphony says these wine fests have a history of selling out, so buying early beats being clever about it.
