Santa Claus is Coming to Town
Historical

Charles Ashbee in a Santa suit, Ridgefield, around 1955, and a room full of people who remember the ones who came after him.
The Ridgefield History Club's holiday gathering looks back at some of the town's Santas from years past, with holiday history, a good deal of cheer, and an open invitation to bring your own holiday stories. The Society hints at surprises.
The History Club is an informal community storytelling program of the Historical Society. It meets for an hour on the third Tuesday of every month to take on one topic in Ridgefield's history through shared conversation. Each session is recorded and cataloged in the Society's archive, streamed live on Facebook, and posted afterward to the Society's YouTube channel. Longtime residents and newcomers are equally welcome.
Good to know. Free, and registration is requested on the Society's event page because parking and seating at the Scott House are both limited. Questions go to 203-438-5821 or info@ridgefieldhistoricalsociety.org.
Please check with the organizer if the event date, time or offer has changed.** LTO
