Songwriting Series: From Seed to Song

Five weeks, twelve people, and whatever song you have not written yet.

From Seed to Song is a songwriting series led by Carrie Linsky, built around authentic creative expression rather than technique drills. It is open to everyone and takes you from wherever you are: you might approach songwriting in a new way, write your first song outright, or reconnect with your voice and get to the next one. The stated requirement is curiosity, openness and the wish to make something you like.

Linsky is a working songwriter and performer, which means she has been where the room is, and a certified coach, which is the half that makes a group like this feel safe rather than exposing.

The format. Five two-hour group workshops on Tuesdays in March: the 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th, 7:30pm to 9:30pm. Capacity is twelve.

Good to know. $300 for the series, or $275 if you register early, by 29 January.
