Sourdough Focaccia
Food & Drink

Sourdough focaccia is the friendliest way into sourdough — forgiving, flat, and hard to ruin once someone has shown you what the dough should feel like.
This class in the Danbury Library’s Teaching Kitchen covers the fundamentals: keeping a starter alive, reading the dough at every stage, and baking a loaf from start to finish. You leave with your own starter and a clear idea of what to do with it at home.
Good to know. Free, and registration is required. Questions go to Julia Dennen, Innovation and Sustainability Librarian, at 203-797-4505 ext. 7747.
Where to go. The Teaching Kitchen is inside the Danbury Library, immediately right of the parking lot entrance at 170 Main Street.
