Steve Hackett: Best of Genesis & Solo Gems Tour

Thirteen years since Genesis Revisited came through here, and he has spent most of them going back through the catalogue album by album.

Steve Hackett's guitar is woven through the classic Genesis records of the 1970s, and since his 2013 American and UK tours culminated at the Royal Albert Hall and the live DVD that followed, he has brought several of those albums back to concert halls to greater acclaim each time. The 2025 tour was built around The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway, and the run ended with a sold-out UK tour in October 2026.

For 2027 the show changes shape: rather than one album, it is the best of the Genesis songs from across his career, plus a selection from his many solo records. Hackett's own line on it is that he is bringing the show out to celebrate the very best of Genesis, the biggest fan favorites alongside the solo classics, starting on the east coast in April. With him are long-standing bandmates Lalle Larsson on keyboards, Nad Sylvan on vocals, Jonas Reingold on bass, guitar and backing vocals, Rob Townsend on saxophone, flutes, additional keyboards and backing vocals, and Felix Lehrmann on drums.

There are two nights. This is the Monday performance, with a second on Tuesday 20 April.
