Stitch a Gingerbread Man

An embroidered gingerbread man is the sort of ornament that gets hung every December for the next twenty years.

Dawn the Stitching Coach leads this beginner-friendly virtual session, presented by the Danbury Library’s MakerLab, making a festive embroidered gingerbread-man decoration from home. It is part of a wider virtual series covering embroidery, arm knitting and simple paper-making, aimed squarely at people who have never done any of it.

Good to know. Free, ages 16 and up, held on Zoom. Space is limited and registration is required. A limited number of kits is available; registered participants get the Zoom link and, where relevant, kit-pickup details or a supply list. Questions go to Aurelio at the library.

Hosted by the Danbury Public Library, 170 Main Street.
