Story Time for Kids: While We're Here

A picture book, a walk through the galleries, and rain sticks to take home.

The Aldrich runs Story Time in collaboration with the Ridgefield Library, and this session explores the work of artist Beck Lowry. Together the group reads While We're Here, written by Anne Wynter and illustrated by Micha Archer, then heads into The Studio to make rain sticks. It is built for families with children ages 6 and under, so expect it to move at a small person's pace.

It's free. There is no charge for Story Time, but pre-registration is required. The session runs 10:30 to 11:30 am.

Make a morning of it. This falls on a Third Saturday, when admission to the whole Museum is free for everyone. Stay on after the rain sticks and see the galleries.

Where to go. The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, 258 Main Street, Ridgefield.

It has filled up. The Aldrich has marked this session at capacity, so check with the Museum on 203-438-4519 before setting out. Story Time runs most third Saturdays, and the next one will take bookings.
