Sugar House at Nod Hill Brewery

They started as the house band for a local jam session, which is usually a sign a group can play anything put in front of it.

Sugar House have been refining their mix of funk, soul and rock since 2023, and the catalogue stretches from Stevie Wonder to Led Zeppelin to the Allman Brothers to Chris Stapleton. What makes it theirs is less the choices than what they do to them.

There is an opening act. Chowdah Music opens the afternoon at 4pm, well before the main set.

Good to know. The show is free and it is in the Backspace. No tickets, no reservations, no RSVP, and seating is first come, first served.

Where to go. Nod Hill Brewery sits on Ethan Allen Highway in Ridgefield, an easy run for anyone in lower Fairfield County.
