Sunday Afternoon Tour

Curious about contemporary art but not sure where to start? You are the intended audience.

When you stand in front of a work in a gallery, do you find yourself questioning what you are seeing, or wishing you could get past the surface of it? That instinct is the whole premise of this tour. One of The Aldrich's expert Educators leads an hour through the current exhibitions, structured less as a lecture than as a way to activate your curiosity and hold your attention.

Catch it before it closes. The Museum flags this one as a particularly good chance to see The Aldrich Decennial: I am what is around me, which comes down in January.

Good to know. The tour runs 2 to 3 pm and is free with Museum admission. Pre-registration is encouraged.

What admission costs. Adults $20, seniors 60 and over $15, students $9. Members, educators, children under 13 and military families get in free.
