The 4th Annual Killer Drum Jams

A stage full of student drummers, a proper sound system, and an audience that turned out specifically to hear them.

The fourth annual Killer Drum Jams brings the student roster of Killer Drums Studio to Park City Music Hall for an evening of solo spots and group collaborations, all of it built around the art of drumming. It is a showcase rather than a recital: a real venue, a real room, and local players getting the kind of night most of them have only watched from the floor. If you want to hear what the next wave of Bridgeport musicians sounds like, this is the cheapest ticket in town.

Good to know. $20 general admission, plus online fees. All ages, and children aged five and over need a ticket of their own. Doors and music both at 4pm, so this is one of the few shows here you can bring a family to and still be home for dinner.

Make a night of it. Full bar and kitchen on site, open from doors, serving craft cocktails and real food. The kitchen stays open until the Kitchen Open light goes off.

Where to go. Park City Music Hall, 2926 Fairfield Avenue, Bridgeport. Primarily a standing room, with limited seating first come, first served. You can avoid the online fees by buying in person or by phone during box office hours, Wednesdays and Fridays from noon to 5pm.
