The Adventures of Harold and The Purple Crayon, Afternoon Show

One purple crayon, and everything it draws turns out to be real.

Enchantment Theatre Company's production takes Harold on a wild ride: he jets to Mars with shooting stars and spaceships, joins a circus and walks a tightrope, and meets a king in an enchanted garden, where there is inevitably a dragon. The Harold books by Crockett Johnson have captivated families for more than fifty years by celebrating the imagination of children and the particular way they see the world, which is exactly why Enchantment, one of America's most innovative producers of original theater for children and families, adapted them.

The company's signature style combines life size puppets, masks, magic and music, and it lands on anyone whose heart is young and adventurous.
