Forty-five minutes on a Thursday lunchtime, and the rest of it can wait.
Jackie DeLise leads a virtual session of meditation, mindfulness, breath awareness and gentle body relaxation, built on simple practices for quieting the mind, letting go of stress and getting back to level. What she teaches is tapping your own reservoir of tranquillity, so that calm is available in the middle of the chaos rather than only once it has passed. DeLise is a certified meditation and mindfulness teacher and a certified Mindfulness@Work teacher for Corporate Calm, serves as a certified spiritual care chaplain at Northwell Health, and is a certified Connecticut POST stress management teacher for law enforcement. She co-produces and hosts the CALM wellness podcast for Silver Hill Radio, contributes to the Mental Health TV Network, and wrote The Art of Calm and Creating a Culture of Presence and Belonging.
