The Great American Soulbook

Motown, R&B and soul, with the choreography brought along too.

The Great American SoulBook runs from the defining sounds of the 1960s and 70s through to the voices that carried the music into the 80s, 90s and beyond. The American Soul Band performs it with four male lead vocalists whose polished style recalls The Temptations, rich vocal harmonies, coordinated choreography and the push of a full live band.

Featured vocalist Deanna Carroll toured for years portraying Diana Ross in Lady Supreme. Here she fronts an ensemble of background singers celebrating the women who shaped the sound of soul, from The Supremes and Aretha Franklin to Gladys Knight and Whitney Houston.

The set list reaches wide. The Temptations, The Four Tops, The Isley Brothers, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Sam & Dave and James Brown, alongside Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross, Anita Baker, Boyz II Men, Babyface and Peabo Bryson.

Good to know. Tickets are $49 plus $4.37 in fees, with all seating reserved.
