The JOHNNYSWIM Christmas Show

Two voices that have been singing together long enough to finish each other's phrases.

JOHNNYSWIM is Abner Ramirez and Amanda Sudano Ramirez, and what they do is hard to file: singer songwriter bones with alternative flair, rock vigor and pop ambition, built out of memories and personal history and a fair amount of invention. Years of touring have built them a devoted audience worldwide, and the reason is the room rather than the record.

NPR, The New York Times, Huffington Post, Nylon and Rolling Stone have all taken a run at describing the folk, pop and blues blend, landing on captivating and unforgettable. They have played The Today Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The Christmas show is a returning favorite: holiday standards alongside songs from across their catalogue, with the storytelling and the chemistry that their live shows run on. Warm, soulful, and built around the nostalgia and togetherness people actually want out of December.

Where to go. The Playhouse is at 80 East Ridge Road in Ridgefield, behind the town hall, and it is an easy run in from anywhere in lower Fairfield County.
