The Lords Of 52nd Street return to the Playhouse for their eighth annual January concert, which tells you how this one goes over. Best known for backing Billy Joel on many of his greatest hits and most memorable concerts, they are considerably more than sidemen. Their musical contributions are a large part of what turned Joel's songbook into one of the best selling and most beloved catalogues of the last fifty years.

The set runs through Only The Good Die Young, The Stranger, Captain Jack, You May Be Right and a great deal more.

Good to know. Eight years running means the regulars book early. Long Island royalty, as the Playhouse puts it.

Where to go. The Playhouse is at 80 East Ridge Road in Ridgefield, behind the town hall, and it is an easy run in from anywhere in lower Fairfield County.
