The Mystery Train Band at Nod Hill Brewery

Not the Dead. The other band, the one Garcia ran on the side.

The Mystery Train Band is Connecticut's premier Jerry Garcia Band project, and the distinction matters: this is Garcia's solo and cover work rather than the Grateful Dead songbook, which means Dylan, The Band, The Beatles, Van Morrison and whoever else he had a mind to play. The players are seasoned and the joy of it is the point.

Good to know. The show is free and it is in the Backspace. No tickets, no reservations, no RSVP, and seating is first come, first served.

Where to go. Nod Hill Brewery sits on Ethan Allen Highway in Ridgefield, an easy run for anyone in lower Fairfield County.
