The Psychedelic Furs, Second Night

Two nights, because one was not going to cover it.

The Psychedelic Furs emerged from the UK post punk scene under vocalist and songwriter Richard Butler and his brother Tim on bass, and their influence has carried for four decades among anyone who values the place where rawness meets romanticism. They became one of the premier bands on college and alternative radio with Love My Way, Pretty In Pink, Heaven, The Ghost In You and Heartbreak Beat, across eight studio albums plus compilations, a box set and a live concert DVD, and they inspired one of the most iconic motion picture soundtracks of all time.

Made Of Rain, their latest, charted in a multitude of countries and became the band's second highest ranked UK album, landing on best of year lists worldwide.

The Furs thrive live. Glastonbury headliners, and more recently the Hollywood Bowl, London's Royal Albert Hall, Radio City Music Hall and Nashville's Grand Ole Opry, with a show that has not lost its edge.

Two nights. This is the Friday. The Thursday before it is the other one.
