The Quiet Chapter Book Club

A book club with no assigned book, where most of the hour is silent.

The Quiet Chapter Book Club is an hour set aside at the Mark Twain Library to read whatever you brought, in a comfortable spot, with nothing asked of you and nowhere else to be. For the final ten minutes people surface, compare notes on what they have been reading and have something to eat. No assigned titles, no discussion questions, no pressure. It meets on the third Wednesday of the month.

Good to know. Free, and registration is required. Light refreshments at the end.

Where to go. Mark Twain Library at 439 Redding Road.
