The Ridgefield Chorale: Holiday Pops Concert

Two events, one afternoon, and one very good reason to come to both. The Ridgefield Chorale's Holiday Pops Concert runs from 4:00 to 6:00pm and is exactly what it sounds like: contemporary songs of the season, casual and charming, seasonal favorites pitched for all ages. Nobody needs to dress up and nobody needs to sit still.

Concert proceeds benefit Circle of Care, a Connecticut organization that supports families facing pediatric cancer from the moment of diagnosis through treatment and beyond. That means hospital and home support, peer connections, emergency financial assistance, sibling support, special events, holiday programs, and bereavement services, all aimed at making sure no family goes through it alone.

Bring the little ones early. From 12:30 to 1:30pm there is a separate Holiday Children's Event in the Playhouse lobby, where kids decorate cookies while Chorale singers perform holiday songs. Recommended for ages 0 to 8, and every child needs an adult with them. Tickets are $10 per child, which includes a cookie to decorate, and $5 per adult. Tickets for the two events are purchased separately.

The Ridgefield Chorale thanks its concert sponsors: The Kinne Family; Blandine Lewine; McLaughlin & Stern; Mitchell, Sheahan & Slippen, P.C.; Steve and Patti Ross; and Allison and Jon Stockel. This event is a rental of the Playhouse facility.
