One engineer. One reporter. A company's most guarded secrets.
Aaron Sorkin wrote and directed this companion piece to The Social Network, drawn from true events. Frances Haugen, played by Mikey Madison, is a young Facebook engineer who pulls Wall Street Journal reporter Jeff Horwitz, played by Jeremy Allen White, into a dangerous push to blow the whistle on the social network. Jeremy Strong and Wunmi Mosaku co-star. It is a David and Goliath story, and it runs an hour and 52 minutes.
Showtimes. Opens Thursday, October 8 at 4:15 and 7pm. Friday through Sunday at 1:15, 4:15 and 7pm. More dates are usually added each week. Times can change, so check the showtimes page before you go.
Heads up on the R rating. Rated R for language. Anyone under 17 needs a parent or adult 21 or older to give permission in person at the Prospector box office.
Good to know. Tickets are $15 for adults and $13 for kids 11 and under. The theater suggests arriving 30 minutes early to grab concessions and good seats.
Every ticket does some good. The Prospector is a nonprofit theater built to employ adults with disabilities, who the theater calls Prospects. They greet you and seat you before every show. Closed caption devices and descriptive audio headsets are available at every first-run show.
Make a night of it. The Heads Up Café inside the theater pours coffee, beer and wine, and the ceiling is covered in pennies hand-placed heads up by the Prospects. Downtown Ridgefield's Main Street restaurants are a short walk away.
