The United States Army Field Band & Soldiers' Chorus
Concert

Eighty nine musicians, all fifty states, and it costs nothing to get in.
The United States Army Field Band is the official touring musical representative of the US Army, connecting with Americans, sharing Army stories and honouring veterans. These are active-duty soldiers who tour nationally and internationally.
The Concert Band and Soldiers' Chorus are the oldest and largest of the Field Band's components, founded in 1946 and 1957, and they combine for joint concerts on national tours. Between them they have played all 50 states and 30 foreign countries. The 60-member Concert Band and 29-member Soldiers' Chorus perform in some of the most famous concert halls in the world and just as often in the humblest auditoriums in the smallest communities, with programming that runs from orchestral masterworks and operatic arias to Sousa marches, jazz classics and Broadway. They have recently shared stages with the Boston Pops, the Cincinnati Pops, the Detroit Symphony and the National Symphony.
It's free. The Palace lists this as a free showing, but you reserve rather than just turn up.
