The Wood Brothers

Chris and Oliver Wood are brothers who spent fifteen years deliberately not working together. Chris had legions of devoted fans as one third of Medeski Martin & Wood; Oliver's band King Johnson had built a loyal following across the South. When they finally joined forces, and added drummer Jano Rix as a permanent third member, they became what Paste calls "masters of soulful folk."

Since then the trio has grown into one of roots music's most revered acts, playing sold-out rooms across North America, earning a Grammy nomination, and releasing nine studio albums, the most recent being Puff of Smoke. What they do live is the reason people keep coming back: three players who genuinely listen to each other.

Get there early for the opener. Tyler Ramsey is a fingerstyle guitarist and one of the more captivating voices in modern indie folk, based outside Asheville, North Carolina. He came up as a key member of Band of Horses across three studio albums, where his intricate playing and introspective songwriting became a defining part of that band's sound.
