Third Saturdays: Free Admission at The Aldrich

One Saturday a month, the price of getting in is nothing at all.

The Aldrich opens free to everyone on the third Saturday of every month, galleries and Sculpture Garden included. It is the cheapest way to see The Aldrich Decennial: I am what is around me, the Museum's first ten-year survey of artists living and working in Connecticut, and it runs 10 am to 5 pm.

On the day: Story Time for Kids at 10:30 am, reading Magic: Once Upon a Faraway Land by Mirelle Ortega, drop-in art making in The Studio, and the All Ages Discovery Tour from 1 to 2 pm.

Good to know. Doors 10 am to 5 pm. The Decennial closes on 10 January 2027, so this is one of the last free Saturdays to catch it. Admission is free; pre-registration is encouraged rather than required, and the individual programs fill up well before the day.

Where to go. The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, 258 Main Street, Ridgefield, with the Sculpture Garden on the same two-acre campus.
