Traditional Irish Session at Nod Hill Brewery

Fiddler and accordionist Damien Connolly hosts an evening of communal music making in the Taproom, the kind of joyful, unrehearsed atmosphere that only happens at a session. Traditional players are welcome to bring their instruments and join the fray. Everyone else is welcome to sit with a pint and listen.

The dates. Nod Hill has four sessions on the calendar: Thursday 17 September, Thursday 22 October, Thursday 19 November and Thursday 17 December. Three of those are the third Thursday of the month, but October's falls on the fourth Thursday, so check the date rather than assuming.

Musicians, take note. Melody players are welcome. Accompanists are by invite only.

It's free. No tickets, no RSVP, and seating in the Taproom is first come, first served.

Where to go. Nod Hill Brewery sits on Ethan Allen Highway in Ridgefield, an easy run for anyone in lower Fairfield County.
