Upstream to Bach at The Granite

Two classically trained musicians who both spend half their working lives somewhere else entirely.

The Charles Ives Music Festival presents Upstream, the genre-bending duo of George Meyer on violin and Will Healy on piano. Both are composers and collaborators as well as players, and both work well outside the classical world: Meyer regularly with bluegrass musicians, Healy with jazz and hip-hop artists. That is what the programme is built on.
