One short story, an hour, and a room that has read it closely.
Women on the Edge reads across every genre, as long as the writer is a woman, with a deliberate lean towards diverse, edgy and emerging voices. December's choice is Toni Morrison's short story Recitatif, which is short enough to read in a sitting and difficult enough to argue about for the rest of the evening.
Good to know. Copies can be collected from the hold shelf. Allow time for them to arrive, because the library borrows copies in from other libraries. Registration is required and closes on 14 December at 6:30pm.
