The Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra’s commitment to world-class performances of marvelous music is our history and our future! Under the direction of Music Director Eric Mahl, the orchestra, along with renowned soloists and special guest artists, presents extraordinary evenings of music sure to engage, entertain and inspire all music lovers!

Founded in 1964 with the mission to enrich the cultural life of the citizens of Ridgefield and surrounding communities by presenting orchestral concerts of the highest artistic quality. The RSO also strives to increase the appreciation for music through community involvement and educational programs for people of all ages and abilities.

Mr. Mahl was appointed as Music Director in January of 2025. Known for his contagious energy and passion, Mr. Mahl has solidified his place as one of the most exciting conductors of his generation. His performances captivate audiences, and through these unique musical experiences, he unleashes music’s immense power to bring positive change to the world. Mr. Mahl is dedicated to bringing music to life for everyone, believing that it is a necessary part of a joyous and fulfilling existence.
