American Mahjong Open Play

Weekly, no sign-up, no lesson. Just the table and whoever turns up.

The C.H. Booth Library keeps its Meeting Room open every Thursday morning for American Mahjong, aimed at anyone who wants to practise rather than be taught. It is the low-commitment end of what has become a very popular game in town, and it sits alongside the library's beginner bootcamp and its evening open play for people who want something more structured or later in the day.

Good to know. Free, drop in, no registration.

Where to go. The Meeting Room at the library, 25 Main Street.
