Brookfield Film Festival

Three days of films made by people who live here, plus two blocks of Oscar nominated short films.

The Brookfield Film Festival exists to give local filmmakers a platform to show their work and then talk about it, both the subjects of the films and the business of making them. It is run by the Brookfield Arts Commission, an all-volunteer organization, and co-sponsored with the theatre, and it is produced by Gary Blu.

Every penny of the proceeds goes to the Brookfield Arts Commission Arts Scholarship Award, given each year to a graduating Brookfield high school student heading into an arts degree.

Good to know. Tickets and information come from the Brookfield Arts Commission rather than the theatre box office.
