Build a Dovetailed Box
Workshop & Classes

A dovetail is the joint woodworkers use to show off, and it is far more achievable than its reputation suggests.
Over a weekend students cut through-dovetail joints using a mix of hand and power tools, assembling a box with quarter-inch hardwood sides and ends. It is a small amount of wood for a large amount of impact, and the joinery transfers straight into bigger projects afterward.
Good to know. Session times differ across the two days, so check the schedule when you register. $380 for the weekend, in the Woodworking Studio at 290 Whisconier Road. Prices and openings change, so check the registration page before you plan around it.
Please check with the organizer if the event date, time or offer has changed.** LTO
