Clay Play: Holiday Tree & Ornament Handbuilding

The ornaments people keep are the ones somebody made.

Audra Edele runs this as a beginner-friendly two-week workshop with no clay experience needed. In the first week you learn simple handbuilding techniques and shape holiday trees, ornaments and seasonal accents, working step by step with the instructor. In the second week, after the pieces have been fired, you return to add colour with glaze and choose from a run of festive finishes.

Note the times differ. Week one runs 1pm to 4pm and week two runs 1pm to 3pm, so do not assume the same finish time on both Sundays.

Good to know. $150 for both sessions, ages 12 and up, in the Ceramic Studio at 290 Whisconier Road. Prices and openings change, so check the registration page before you plan around it.
