Floor Loom Weaving

A floor loom is a machine you operate with your whole body, and it takes a few weeks before it stops feeling like one.

Students start at a loom that has already been warped, purely to get the feel of how the thing works. From there it is the real sequence: reading a weaving pattern, preparing a warp, dressing the loom, and weaving a project through to the end. You leave with cloth and a clear idea of how you got there.
