Gaelic Storm: A Night at PJ Murphy's
Concert

They played the party in third class. Twenty years later they are still touring on it.
Gaelic Storm are a multi-national Celtic juggernaut who have only got stronger with time, and after two decades and more than 2,000 shows they are a real force. They put the run down to the audience, which is unusually broad for the genre, drawn in by the storytelling, the instrumentals, the devotion to Celtic traditions and the sheer stagecraft. "The fans are the ones that have given us this life. We're here for them," says frontman Patrick Murphy.
They started as a pub band in Santa Monica in the mid-1990s, and one performance led to the discovery that put them in Titanic, playing Irish Party in Third Class. Longtime member Ryan Lacey is blunt about the rest: "You have to see us live. We are the true working-man's band."
This show is framed as a night at PJ Murphy's, with songs, dance and stories.
Good to know. Tickets run $51.50 to $61.50.
