Hand Crafted and Forged Cooking Utensils

Forged utensils have a heft that nothing from a shop can match, and they do not warp, melt or snap.

Over two days students explore both two-piece construction and one-piece forgings, making multiple utensils for the kitchen or the grill. The weekend covers simple hand forging technique, material isolation and the decisions that make a tool feel right in the hand rather than merely look the part.
