Harvest Hearth and Baking: Cozy Autumn Creations

In this four-week workshop at Edmond Town Hall, Chef Robyn Herman takes young chefs through classic autumn comfort food. They sharpen real kitchen skills, including safe knife work, pastry assembly, pan searing and seasoning from scratch, while making savory zucchini and herbed ricotta galettes, golden skillet cornbread with whipped honey and cinnamon butter, and an orchard apple-cranberry crisp with cinnamon-oat streusel. Every student goes home with more confidence, a hearty tasting and a complete recipe packet.

Class dates. Tuesdays, November 17 and 24 and December 1 and 8.

Two age groups. Ages 12 and up from 3 to 4:30pm, ages 7 to 11 from 5 to 6:30pm.
