Holiday Ornament Painting Workshop

Handmade ornaments are the ones that stay in the box for thirty years.

Charbel Khalil runs a hands-on painting session in the library's makerspace, working through techniques, festive colors, patterns and decorative details so that what comes out is actually yours rather than a kit. There is room to try several designs and keep going with whichever works.

Beginner-friendly, so turn up with no painting experience at all. All materials and supplies are provided and the ornaments go home with you.

Good to know. Free, registration required, for teens and adults.

Where to go. The chbMAKERS' Corner at the library, 25 Main Street, Newtown.
