Holiday Serving Platter

Every holiday table needs one large thing to pass around, and this is a good excuse to make it yourself.

Over two afternoons students design their own colourful glass composition and shape it into a broad, gently raised fourteen-inch platter in the kiln. It is low-profile enough to work as a centerpiece and generous enough for hors d'oeuvres, cookies, or whatever the season demands.
