Holiday Sip 'n Shop

Holiday shopping, but with a glass in your hand and live music behind you.

Now in its sixth year, the Community Center's Holiday Sip 'n Shop fills the building with local vendors and turns an evening of gift buying into a night out. Wine and beer tasting, food, live music, and a few hours to get through the list without a parking garage involved. Proceeds support Friends of the Newtown Community Center.

Want the VIP treatment? $45 gets you in at 5:45, an hour and a quarter ahead of everyone else, with a sneak preview of the vendors, a specialty cocktail, light hors d'oeuvres and entry into the door prizes.

Good to know. General admission is $25 with doors at 7:00, running through to 10:00, at 8 Simpson Street.
