Honey: The Science Behind the Fruit
Food & Drink

Free samples, several flavors, and a decent argument for keeping honey next to the vinegar rather than the sugar.
The Humble Bee Honey Company makes the case for honey as a cooking ingredient rather than a sweetener: why it works in marinades, barbecue sauces and hot sauces, and how it balances the palate of foods that are otherwise too sharp or too flat. A small food demonstration shows that balancing act happening.
There are samples and flavors to try throughout, and literature to browse if you come early, which is also the easiest time to get your questions in.
Good to know. Free, and registration is required to reserve a spot.
