Introduction to 3D Printing: Keychain Making
Workshop & Classes

The quickest way to understand 3D printing is to stand next to one while it makes something you designed.
Charbel Khalil runs this as a beginner session in the library's makerspace: how a digital design is put together, how it becomes instructions a printer can follow, and then the printing itself. Everyone customizes a keychain design and watches it come off the machine.
It is a genuine introduction rather than a demonstration, and it is as useful for someone weighing up buying a printer as for anyone merely curious about digital fabrication. All materials and equipment are provided.
Good to know. Free, registration required, for teens and adults.
