Introduction to Glass Beads - Lampwork

Hot glass moves like honey and cools like it has opinions.

This introductory lampwork class is a hands-on first go at beadmaking: torch safety and setup, then gathering and melting glass and winding it onto a mandrel. You learn to control shape and heat, add colour, and end the session with beads you made from a rod and a flame.

Good to know. $145 for the session, in the Glass Studio at 273 Whisconier Road. Prices and openings change, so check the registration page before you plan around it.
