Lunar A Cappella Holiday Concert

Nine voices, no instruments, and a December evening of seasonal songs.

Lunar is an all female a cappella group, and this is their holiday program at Brookfield Theatre: carols, standards and seasonal arrangements carried entirely by voice. The group is Deanna Broga, Lauren Brown, Shakita Crews, Vannissa Lewis, Sarah Mariano, Jessica Savage, Amanda Sousa, Kira Wallace and Shea Westlake.

It is a one night concert in a 1950s-era community playhouse rather than a concert hall, which is the appeal: close enough to hear the blend without amplification doing the work.

Good to know. Doors open at 7pm. The theatre has not published a curtain time, so allow for the usual half hour and call the box office on 203-775-0023 if you want it confirmed. Refreshments are available an hour before the show and at intermission, with limited beer and wine service for over-21s. The building has accessible side doors, access ramps and ADA compliant restrooms.

What it costs. $25 for every seat, online in advance through Ludus or at the door.

Where to go. The theatre is at 184 Whisconier Road in Brookfield, on Route 25 next door to the Brookfield Library.
