Manhattan Short Film Festival: Evening

Same program, later start, for anyone whose Sunday afternoon is already spoken for.

Manhattan Short began in 1998, when founder Nicholas Mason gathered 200 people on Mulberry Street in Little Italy and showed 16 short films on a screen mounted to the side of a truck. A year later it moved to Union Square Park, and the annual event took hold.

It is now the only film festival on the planet that unfolds simultaneously in more than 500 cinemas on six continents, drawing over 100,000 film-lovers into the same week of screenings and putting the next generation of filmmakers in front of all of them at once.
