Mystery Train

First Saturday of the new year, and the holidays are finally over.

Mystery Train play the music of Jerry Garcia at Notch8 Bar & Grill. His solo catalog is a different animal from the Grateful Dead's band material, and this is a band that knows the difference.

Make a night of it. The kitchen serves wood-fired pizza, burgers, wings and smoked barbecue until 10 on Saturdays, with pizza until 11. Twenty-four draft lines plus craft cocktails, wine, seltzers and ciders.

Good to know. Music 9 to 11:30 p.m. at 1 Front Street in Bethel. No cover charge is published.
